November/December 2005 News

December 2005
I recieved an E-mail from Jamie Waese. I would like to share some of the things he mention to me in it. It's very informative and from what I've read, I certainly know that I can't wait to see the second season!

-------
Our second season is launching in Canada very soon. It will launch on Disney about a month later. I'm very proud of it and can't wait to hear the reaction from you and the fans. Some new things to look out for in season two include:

- better makeup treatment, hair, and more attractive costumes in general
- more zany hiding places for Moe
- an extended pledge with a lot more movement and energy
- real live singing in the clubhouse song
- replaced Mazz with one of Canada's top soul divas, Jackie Richardson
- a visit to the Doodlebops' recording studio in every episode
- a terrific new puppet character, recording engineer Audio Murphy
- more interactivity for kids - the Doodles teach a dance and invite kids to join along in every episode
- a 'music video' performance in every episode
- more zany special effects - especially during the bus sequence
- a new version of Get on the Bus that will blow you away
- a better 'arrive at the theater' sequence
- a truly amazing concert sequence with beautiful camera work, an enthusiastic audience, and shiny versions of the costumes
- 26 new knock-knock jokes, shot outside with beautiful lighting.
- and of course 26 new hit songs, with some really fabulous choreography for each.

Overall it's still the same show, with essentially the same cast and crew. But we learned a lot over the past year and I'm proud to say that all the changes make the show better. You may miss some of the raw charm of season one, but I hope you and your friends stay on board as the show evolves to the next stage. We're all really excited about it and can't wait to begin season three!
