It was April 2005, and I was babysitting one day, trying to find something for the kids to watch. While surfing through the channels, three very bright multi-colored people caught my attention. After watching the show, I began to wonder what they looked like out of make-up and wanted to learn more about each performer. Coming from a performing background myself, I could tell they must have had a lot of training/experience and wanted to know what other work they may have done. Heading over to Google search, I found a couple pictures, some information here and there, a couple forums, but not a whole lot. I thought the Doodlebops definitely had potential and since I knew a thing or two about making websites, it came to me, I should make a site for them!

Soon after, I started to gather all the content I could find and with the help of my friend Chrissy, Together Forever opened two weeks later on July 18th, 2005 with the link www.deedeerooneymoe.cib.net - a free domain name. There was a little content and a few graphics with a very simple layout - it wasn't much, but it was a start. I found out the Doodlebops were having a concert taping for their second season and after convincing my grandparents to take me - and picking up Chrissy on the way - we drove to Canada to attend that which was fun.

Chrissy worked with me on the website for a few weeks, but we had some disagreements which ended up with her leaving. I removed the work she did and kept the site running. Then I realized that I really wanted to make this site the best I could so I took it to the next level. Yes, I bought my own domain name - www.deedeerooneymoe.net - on August 8th, 2005 and got a host which costs about $10 per month. After transferring all my content to its new home, I decided to give the site another make-over and was happy with the result.

After buying the domain name, I started to try to get the word out about the site even more. I would advertise the site any where I could online and before I knew it, fans from all over the world were checking it out. The forum started to become very active and now has grown to have more than over 34,000 posts and over 400 members.

I started to travel even more to see the Doodlebops at events so I could get all the exculsive pictures and information I could for the site. I made it a goal to attend at least one show they have on each tour. I'm also known for handing out stickers at the shows I attend, which has helped promote the site as well - I love being able to walk around at the shows and talk to all the families. I've now seen the Doodlebops 15+ times, which also includes getting some screen time of my own - a Disney "behind the ears" commercial, appearing in some of the season two concert shots, a few seconds on the Today show - and have had the chance to interview the Doodles a few times. It's just been an amazing experience.

Together Forever has been opened for a year and a half now, with over 150,000 visitors and is growing every single day! Never, in a million years, did I imagine my site would become as huge as it has. TF is an ever-changing project and it has been through four different looks so far. I'm very proud of my current layout just because I know how the site looked when it very first opened. It's a great feeling to see how many people I've brought together and all the friendships I've made through the site. I know Together Forever will be around for quite a while.
